We are looking for a talented Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team for the school year.
We are hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to work with a high school student 1:1 in a self-contained setting with lots of support staff. This position is for this current school year and next so long as the student returns.
Rate Range: $52.00-$64.00 per hour
Responsibilities would include:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) aligned with student needs.
- Provide direct behavior support and implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions for students with disabilities.
- Monitor and analyze student progress, adjusting intervention strategies based on data and team feedback.
- Collaborate with IEP teams, special education staff, teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to support student behavior goals.
- Train and coach school staff and caregivers on behavior management strategies and ABA principles.
- Support crisis intervention and behavior de-escalation strategies within the school setting.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure individualized support.
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and data collection in compliance with Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) regulations and IDEA guidelines.
- Recommend and oversee the use of assistive technology and reinforcement systems for student
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) License – Category 5010 (School Behavior Analyst License) (Required for school-based positions).
- Experience working with students in a school setting (preferred).
- Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check (required per DPI guidelines).
