Radiologist Physician Opportunity – VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY

We are seeking Board-Certified Radiologists to provide professional services across multiple subspecialties, including:

• Abdominal/GU
• Breast Imaging
• Cardiovascular
• General Radiology
• Interventional
• Musculoskeletal
• Neuroradiology
• Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT

The VA would like to see two providers per modality for this opportunity. Scheduling needs are as follows:

• IR: We currently have one provider in processing for a one-week-on / one-week-off schedule. We are looking for a complementary provider to cover the alternating weeks.
• Nuc Med: We need to fill a full-time schedule. The VA is currently flexible on how we structure this coverage.

Position Details:

• Location: Lexington VA Medical Center, Lexington, KY
• Start Date: Expected September 1
• Duration: 1-year contract
• Rate: $400–$430 per hour
• Licensure: Any active, unrestricted U.S. state license accepted

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in radiology practice
• Board Certification: Required through the American Board of Radiology
• Licensure: All physicians must hold full, active, and unrestricted licenses. Those with past or present restricted, suspended, or revoked licenses are ineligible
• DEA: Current DEA certificate required
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Work Schedule:

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
• Off-hours: No on-call or after-hours coverage required
