As a Boat Care Engineer at Bridge Marina, you will be working with boats every day on the shores of Lake Hopatcong. You will find yourself working on the waterfront in a role that is unlike any standard job. What will you do?
You will be an integral part of our service team responsible for the care of boats in our service department, the marina, the boat rental fleet, and boating club fleet. Your role will be a significant touchpoint for all the boats in our care. Your responsibilities include:
Ensuring that our boats are well maintained prior, during and after entering our Service Department, which involves launching, mooring, cleaning, covering, etc.
You will be involved in cleaning boats, assisting with minor maintenance, and ensuring the boats’ overall care.
Expect to assist with commissioning and decommissioning, handling tasks such as moving, blocking, shrink-wrapping and similar.
Trailer boats, dock boats, and move boats around the marina, our properties, and the lake.
Contribute to various projects, assisting technicians in repairs, maintenance of the service department, and similar.
Providing various support to the Service Department, Boat Club, Boat Rental, and our valued Marina guests such as preparing boats, or ensuring the property is in good care.
For much of your work you will maintain records, notes, and report your information on smart phone or tablet.
You will always be part of a larger team, all enrolled in creating a safe and fun boating experience.

We are looking for applicants who are seeking:
Full-time work, year-round position, with flexibility to occasionally work overtime, as the workload could vary with the season. Mon-Fri schedule approximately 8:30a-5:30p with some overtime and occasional Saturday.
Indoor and outdoor tasks in seasonal weather conditions, both around the marina and on the water.
Advancement opportunities and salary increases are available and encouraged.
Hourly rates range from $16 to $22 based on experience, ability, and how well suited to role.
Additional seasonal incentives and bonuses.
Team events and outings, typically around boating or similar activities.
Health care benefits, a retirement plan with a company contribution, sick time, and paid vacation after 90 days.
