    EIG Services LLC seeks a dynamic BookKeeper to join our growing agency. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide monitoring, recordkeeping, and onsite support to the Fiscal department. This position reports to the fiscal director and is a full-time salaried position, typically working in person Monday through Friday.

    Starting Salary: $50,000 Salary based on experience.

    Duties/Responsibilities in support of the Fiscal Department:

    Maintain and reconcile various bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts.

    Enters journal entries to debit and credit the company’s accounts.

    Maintains payroll-related accounts and is responsible for reconciling and ensuring the accuracy of accounts.

    Creates and distributes analytical reports and other compliance reports to several departments.

    Recording and verification of accounts payable, receivable, and payroll transactions.

    Invoice and purchase/procurement and approval process management.

    Responsible for coding and vouchering all cash disbursements and invoices.

    Responsible for maintenance of bank deposits, gift cards, and petty cash fund.

    Responsible for purchasing beverage/food items and kitchen and office supplies.

    Files and Maintains accurate fiscal/payroll records.

    Create and maintain spreadsheets using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.

    Coordinate and schedule meetings within internal and external participants’ schedules.

    Deposit all checks and maintain all client room and board agreements and ledgers.

    Assist the Chief Financial Officer / Fiscal Director with other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.

    Ability to record, store, and analyze financial data using accounting software.

    Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

    Ability to learn human resources and finance procedures and policies.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.

    Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn accounting and payroll software

    Education and Experience:

    A Degree in Accounting is required.

    At least 2 years of experience in accounting is required.

    At least 1 year of experience in payroll management is preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

    Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
