Bookkeeper/HR Manager For Law Firm WeierLaw, a well-established personal injury firm, is currently seeking to hire a bookkeeper/HR Manager who wants to grow and develop personally and professionally. Responsibilities: Bookkeeping Daily/Weekly Tasks: • Quickbooks Desktop Experience Required. • Depositing/Mailing Checks and Packets. • Cutting checks from IOLTA per R&D (double-checking for errors to reduce risk). • Making Fee/Cost Deposits. • Manage and Pay Administrative Bills. • Pay/Log costs for bills for Records Department. • Making sure we aren’t double-paying or overpaying per RCW. • Research ‘lost/missed’ payments as needed. Payroll Management: • Payroll: Tracking salary adjustments, 941, and Simple IRA employee payments. Benefits Management: • Managing Benefits: Colonial Life, Regence, Simple IRA for Employees. Monthly/Quarterly Reporting and Compliance: • Monthly and Quarterly Reports: 941, 940, DOR, SUTA, L&I, FMLA, and Cares. • Expense Reports. Annual Reporting and Adjustments: • Annual EOY W2s/W3 & 1099s and Unclaimed Property. • Annual Adjustments for tax and wage rates. • Annual DOE Notarizing. • Annual COLA. L &I and Pension Management: • L&I Pension management. • Liaison between Clients and L&I to manage questions. • Coordinate as necessary directly with L&I to manage questions. Employee Management: • Manage employees' needs over the course of employment. • Taking Calls/Texts/Emails from employees. • Manage Employee records as required by law. • Manage corrective actions, terminations, and probation extensions for employees. • Coordinating team training and team events. • Birthday & Anniversaries Gift Cards for employees. Time and Attendance: • Manage Employee Time Requests. • Processing Leave Requests in ShopClock w/ time off forms. • Cross-referencing calendars/slips/and confirming with employees. • Managing Sick/Vacation/LWOP/PTO/OT - Adjusting as necessary to cover time. • Vacation/sick accrual. • Complete all attendance rubrics quarterly. Benefits and Compensation: • Add/Remove/Adjust benefits for employees. • Manage Regence & RBC. • Annual recertification of employees to obtain next year's plans/rates & prospectuses. • Manage Open Enrollment (collecting info and relaying information to staff). Qualifications: • Quickbooks Desktop Experience. • Accounts Payable Experience. • Timesheet/Employee Payroll Experience. • Professional Communication. Compensation: $65,000+
