    Job Summary

    We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper / Office Manger to join our team. In this role, you will work with our Accounting firm to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the company’s compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. We are a fence installation company. You will be responsible for answering phones, calling in locates, pulling permits, etc.

    Responsibilities

    Enter financial data and transactions

    Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered

    Prepare trial balance

    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

    Complete required tax forms

    Answering Phones / Customer Interaction

    Passing Customer information on to Salesperson

    Processing Permits / 811 Locates

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

    Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position

    Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

    Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems

    Strong mathematical and analytical skills

    Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

    Excellent People Skills
