    Job Summary

    We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records.. Your responsibilities will include handling cash bags from the store and restaurant, general admin support, HR general assistance (on boarding/file management), payroll, and data entry as needed. Additional responsibilities will include learning accounts payable to serve as a backup to the accounting manager. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a willingness to adapt. This will initially be a part time position working 2 - 3 days/week and evolving into a full time position after a few months.

    Responsibilities

    Enter financial data and transactions

    Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered

    Analyze budgets and other financial information

    Process accounts payable and accounts receivable

    Qualifications

    Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position

    Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems

    Strong mathematical and analytical skills

    Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
