  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bookkeeper to join our team and play a crucial role in managing the financial records of our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in various bookkeeping tasks.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online.
    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
    • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
    • Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
    • Prepare and file sales tax returns.
    • Assist with payroll processing.
    • Maintain organized client files and ensure confidentiality.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
    • Stay current on accounting software and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably within a CPA firm setting.
    • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
    • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

    Bonus Points:

    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
