Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate financial records using property management software for rental properties in Philadelphia, PA, US • Record daily financial transactions and ensure timely posting • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding the collection and disbursement of security deposits • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable promptly • Monthly posting of payments and management fees • Proactively address tenant delinquencies and provide explanations for charges and credits • Review all accounts meticulously for accuracy • Handle water and utility bill payments as necessary • Record annual real estate tax payments accurately and promptly Qualifications: • Experience with Appfolio or a similar system and essential accounting software is a must-have for this role. • We seek strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and flexibility. • Previous work experience in bookkeeping, property management, management accounting, or related fields is a requirement. • Essential skills include excellent time management, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. • Familiarity with Google Workspaces, MS Word, Excel, and property management software would be beneficial. • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced industry environment is crucial. • Effective communication skills are necessary for interactions with residents and employees and for maintaining a proficient telephone manner.
