    Our busy trucking company is seeking an organized problem-solver to join our team as our bookkeeper. Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with full-charge bookkeeping, in the trucking industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team and handle light accounting, billing, and collections tasks. This is an on-site position located in Bloomington, CA. You will help our team ensure budgets, timelines, and job costs are accurate and oversee all financial transactions for the company, including accounts payable and receivables, payroll, and bank reconciliation. Responsibilities: • Resolve any invoice issues, and process invoices, checks, and payroll accurately and on-time • Assure costs, timeline, and budget of construction projects are accurately forecasted, by providing detailed financial reporting to the general contractor or project manager • Oversee all financial transactions, such as credit card and bank reconciliations, and manage the accounts payables and accounts receivables process • Safeguard the accuracy of the general ledger and journal entries, prepare balance sheets, and financial reports • Perform extensive data entry to ensure all financial data is input into accounting software • Maintain and update accurate financial records, tax reports, contracts, annual budgets, and financial statements • Perform light bookkeeping duties, including managing accounts payable and receivable • Handle billing and invoicing for clients • Monitor and manage collections, ensuring timely payments • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records • Prepare reports as needed for management • Assist with general office duties as necessary Qualifications: • Exceptional organization, analytical, problem solving, and communications skills are important • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software, such as QuickBooks • Associate’s degree in accounting, or business, or related field is preferred - high school diploma is required • Five years of previous experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience in the construction industry • Knowledge of accounting concepts, tax strategies, and best practices Compensation: 20 - 35 hourly
