The Applied Companies has a position available for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity where you will be responsible for the bookkeeping and financial needs of a non-profit. Our client is located in downtown Reno and after training will provide flexibility of schedule and there is also potential for hybrid/remote work. You will be responsible for executing integral financial operations for our client while maintaining confidentiality.
What the Bookkeeper will do:

- Accounts payable
- Accounts receivable
- Cost allocation
- Grant billing
- Payroll support
- Financial record management
- Fiscal audit
What the Bookkeeper needs to have:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- QuickBooks knowledge/experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and software
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
