    Primary Job Responsibilities

    General Ledger Accounting – This individual would be responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager with various tasks throughout the month, including assisting with the month end close. This would include calculating and posting month end journal entries and reviewing and reconciling balance sheet accounts. This individual would also be responsible assisting with the preparation of various reports for review by management.

    Multiple Entities – Bookkeeping for several related entities. This could include recording activity, accounts receivable and payable functions, reconciling bank accounts, recording intercompany transactions and assist Accounting Manager with cost and other reporting

    Inventory – Understanding of and assisting Accounting Manager in maintaining the perpetual inventory system, transfer of inventory between entities and other inventory related transactions

    Fixed Assets – Assist Accounting Manager in fixed asset management and expense tracking

    Financial Reporting and Budgets – Assist Accounting Manager in the preparation of various financial and cost reports as well as budgeting and budget analysis

    Experience

    3 Years in Bookkeeping positions

    Experience with Sage Intaact accounting software a plus

    Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as Google Sheets and Docs a plus

    Qualifications

    Technical accounting skills and familiarity with basic GAAP principles

    Balance Sheet account reconciliation

    Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

    Familiarity with bank and credit card reconciliation procedures

    Ability to handle sensitive financial information with utmost confidentiality

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

    Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
