    Job Description

    This position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of I4.0 solutions in the production environment to assure that equipment are networked to communicate various types of data through available data protocols back to the Manufacturing Execution System and ensuring data accuracy and reliability to drive improvement opportunities and achieve key performance metrics.

    • Support production coordination of the manufacturing & assembly value streams utilizing Industry 4.0 solutions.
    • Support production in data collections & acquisitions.
    • Develop and maintain critical production reports for supporting and optimizing manufacturing operations and processes.
    • Develop, interpret, and edit REST Interface Scripts.
    • Develop and conduct testing plan for implementing I4.0 solutions and improvements
    • Develop and create training documents; Providing training, coaching and support to various levels of production.
    • Perform system validation per project scope documentations and requirements.
    • Work in teams to resolve and implement solutions for improving and streamlining automatic data collection and accuracy in the most effective and efficient manner.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve data communication problems.
    • Perform network, system, and application configurations per specifications and requirements.
    • Provide advanced analytical tools and reports for various levels of production.
    • Assess production machines and equipment for networking and data acquisition capabilities to meet project requirements.
    • Work with cross-functional areas to develop and implement sustainable solutions to meet specific requirements.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering field (preferably in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Design, Electrical, Software).
    • 2+ years working in a Manufacturing environment (preferably in Automotive).
    • 2+ years of working with Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Preferred experience with implementing MES.
    • Experience with MS Power BI. Experience with MS Power Platform preferred.
    • Experience with various fieldbus architectures (Profibus, DeviceNet, Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
    • API experience (preferably with REST protocol & standard).
    • Basic knowledge & experience in SQL; ability to setup and configure databases and perform basic queries.
    • Preferred decent knowledge in object-oriented programming (C #, Python or similar).
    • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and securities.
    • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to identify causes for problems and roadblocks with strong hands-on and technical skills and knowledge and can-do attitude to implement corrective and preventive measures.
    • Strong analytical skills; use modern data analytics practices to better understand data distributions and analytical problems to improve data accuracy/metrics and draw new insights by incorporating an understanding of the business, customer perspective, data sources, and methodologies.
    • Strong project management skills. Experience with Gantt charts preferred.
    • Strong time management and prioritization skill; ability to handle multiple tasks and projects while supporting productions to complete and deliver results on-time.
    • Independent, team-oriented, and flexible for working on multiple tasks/projects.
    • Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols (MTConnect, OPC-UA, FOCAS, etc.).
    • Basic knowledge of network communications of IT, automation devices and machines.
    • Basic knowledge of PLCs and interpreting ladder logic.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams.
    • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and writing; ability to generate high quality reports, presentations and documentations.
