    Job Description

    An apprenticeship is about learning.  If you’ve had some experience with coding or development in the past and are looking to further develop those skills, you are exactly the type of candidate we’re looking for. 

    This position starts June 5, 2023 on site.

    We are committed to helping you grow as an Application Developer in areas such as:  

    • Develop fundamental understanding of communication interfaces like USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet, LIN & CAN
    • Work according to Agile methodology (Scrum), including performing code reviews, design reviews, testing and writing documentation
    • Collaborate and apply appropriate software development methods and problem-solving techniques in a team environment
    • Understand software architecture and embedded control systems
    • Analyze requirements and implement use cases based on interactions with internal/external customers
    • Perform software testing, debugging and validation
    • Build a foundation in software development environments and tool chains used in a global environment
    • Design, develop, model and write software code to support automotive applications

    Candidates may have experience in formal education (i.e. Associates, Bachelors, etc.), basic knowledge in a modern programming, and/or strong communication skills with a continuous improvement and learning mindset.

    Qualifications

    • A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency
    • Valid Driver’s license is required
    • Minimum 18 years of age
    • Candidates must have the ability to work in the United States without a current or future need for visa sponsorship
