    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    Performing administrative support tasks for the Regional President (RP) and leadership team members. Maximize efficiency of the RP and establish highly organized systems. Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers, partners, and other admins. A broad range of complex responsibilities involving confidential or technical information such as compiling reports, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, reading email and taking action, responding to visitors and phone calls, travel scheduling, expense reporting, calendar management and meeting organization. Must manage office when management is off-site. Supports regional policy deployment activities by organizing workshops, preparing communication materials, and organizing related events. Special tasks and assignments required as needed. Customer meeting/event organization, PowerPoint presentation assistance.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Office of the Executive (AS/OFE-NA) is responsible for supporting the Regional President (AS/RP-NA) in the execution of daily business activities as well as special assignments. The Regional President is also responsible for day-to-day leadership of the Sales organization. The OFE position offers the opportunity to interact and network cross functionally with senior leadership, while gaining exposure to a multitude of topics managed by the AS/RP-NA office.

    • Propose agendas, coordinate, and document Staff Meetings, Monthly Business Reviews, All Associate meetings and Leadership Team workshops.
    • Host regular meetings such as the Monthly Leadership Team Meeting and Staff Meetings.
    • Coordinate presentation material for Senior Executive Review and Staff Meetings.
    • Coordinate skip-level meetings by developing invitee list and publishing meeting minutes.
    • Take a lead role in the development of AS-NA top level strategy papers for presentation to the AS and Bosch Boards of Management.
    • Support regional policy deployment activities.
    • Implement CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) activities within AS-NA.
    • Ensure annual ratification of authorization to sign binding external correspondence (CP110)
    • Record Champion for AS/RP-NA (CP112)
    • Ensure SL2+ complete quarterly gratuities summary (CP192).
    • Drive StS Customer Performance activities according to regional roadmap.
    • Support AS Management Board visits as needed.
    • Conduct or provide assistance for internal audits.
    • Distribute global AS rules and regulations to responsible persons in AS-NA.
    • Coordinate general activities with outside groups such as FCM, CI, etc.
    • Take on special tasks/projects as needed
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year College or University. Optimal candidate has degree in Engineering, or other technical degree;
    • 5+ years of professional  automotive industry experience

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    Must have advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook software. Must be capable of learning other software packages (Ex: SAP, Axalant).

    TRAVEL

    Expected domestic and international travel as position requires.

    • Proficient with developing and maintaining strong networks.
    • High level of self-motivation, a passion for change and drive for success.
    • Works under general supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. May orient, train, assign and check the work of lower level employees. May be designated as "lead" worker.
    • Project Management skills (preferred).
