Job Description
This will be a full-time permanent hybrid position, working 60% out of the Boston office and 40% remotely.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the planning and execution of firm-hosted events through the development, implementation and reconciliation stages.
- Responsibilities include: invitations, communication, promotional materials, collateral, RSVP tracking and attendee management.
- Administer and coordinate the firm's promotional materials for events, general firm marketing, attorney needs, and any other promotional material requests.
- Coordinate with the Creative team for event related materials to ensure branding is compliant on invitations, collateral and promotional items.
- Provide support to the Business Development and Marketing team in regards to CRM management, charitable sponsorships and webinars when necessary.
- Maintain vendor relationships to ensure that our key account teams can proactively offer new and engaging ideas and solutions for future events.
- Attend events on behalf of the firm as necessary, promoting a favorable image with attorneys, clients, vendors and industry organizations.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2-5 years of event planning experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services / hospitality industry.
- Proficient with the Microsoft office suite, event management software, design software and e-mailing software experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to quickly get up to speed and master new applications and software is critical.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion.
- Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability, and logical thought process.
