    Job Description

    This will be a full-time permanent hybrid position, working 60% out of the Boston office and 40% remotely.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist with the planning and execution of firm-hosted events through the development, implementation and reconciliation stages.
    • Responsibilities include: invitations, communication, promotional materials, collateral, RSVP tracking and attendee management.
    • Administer and coordinate the firm's promotional materials for events, general firm marketing, attorney needs, and any other promotional material requests.
    • Coordinate with the Creative team for event related materials to ensure branding is compliant on invitations, collateral and promotional items.
    • Provide support to the Business Development and Marketing team in regards to CRM management, charitable sponsorships and webinars when necessary.
    • Maintain vendor relationships to ensure that our key account teams can proactively offer new and engaging ideas and solutions for future events. 
    • Attend events on behalf of the firm as necessary, promoting a favorable image with attorneys, clients, vendors and industry organizations.

     

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree required. 
    • 2-5 years of event planning experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services / hospitality industry.
    • Proficient with the Microsoft office suite, event management software, design software and e-mailing software experience strongly preferred.
    • Ability to quickly get up to speed and master new applications and software is critical.
    • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills. 
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion.
    • Creative problem solving skills, reasoning ability, and logical thought process.
    • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and meet various deadlines.
    • Demonstrated ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Outstanding sense of customer service. 
    • Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude.
    • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion. 
    • Must be self-motivated to produce quality work.
