    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    The role of the Analyst is to provide accurate and timely financially focused research related to various products and services delivered to clients, help manage the process of receiving and assigning requests and ensuring that materials are sent at the right time to the right people. The position reports to the Senior Research Analyst and works with other analysts and client contacts; may also take direction on various projects from other internal senior management team members. Accountable for ensuring all materials are accurate and delivered on time. Responsibilities include:

    • Conducting research for Client reports by reviewing company financial statements, annual reports, industry association studies, and navigating other business reports and presentations

    • Summarizing research findings into written format, for inclusion in research documents, including financial performance reviews, company briefs, client opportunity assessments, industry blueprints, and strategy maps for use by client sales teams

    • Creating presentations for internal teams as well as clients

    • Updating eLearning content through research, writing, QC, and creation in eLearning software application

    • Conducting research for content components of the Client's flagship application

    • Handling user questions that come into Client's application help email box; answering questions or directing bugs / defects / login issues to the IT team for correction

    • Researching options and presenting results for additional data sources as requested by management team or product manager

    • Acting as a support resource for sales team for onboarding calls and general help with Client's application

    • When requested, testing the application for new features and/or KPIs

    • Working with vendor, APQC, and periodically evaluate their data and KPIs available for possible additions and deletion

    • Researching additional sources of KPIs and presenting to management team and Product Manager for review

    • Mapping operational KPIs to customers' solutions within the Client's application using use cases, marketing collateral, customer website information

    • Act as point of contact with clients on educational offerings, to include tracking workshop dates, times, participant lists, and scheduling facilitators

    Qualifications

    Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a similar field

    • Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably within the SaaS industry or related field

    • Top-notch written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to tell a written story effectively and succinctly using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation (in English)

    • Proficient with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

    • Ability to multi-task effectively, manage project timelines independently, and meet deadlines

    • High attention to detail

    • Inquisitive

    • Analytical skills for evaluating operational metrics and financial data

    • Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and have exceptional organizational skills

    • Work well under pressure

    • Team player who collaborates well with others

    • Strong financial or finance-related background
