As a growing hospitality company, we are looking for an experienced Hotel Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the food and beverage staff, budgets and operations of this department. Food and Beverage Manager responsibilities include ensuring each guest has a wow experience when they enter the restaurants, managing employees to ensure they get the job done right the first time and ensuring policies are followed. Food and Beverage Manager will attend to customer complaints or issues, resolving matters as expediently as possible. Supervisors will also oversee food preparation, food storage and dining areas, ensuring that the facility remains in compliance with safety regulations and health codes. Our Hospitality demands require the candidate to have full availability, which includes weekends, nights and holidays. The Food and Beverage Manager must possess a drive to provide exceptional customer service.
Position Responsibilities:
Order Food and Beverage supplies according to business
Maintain Department cost controls guidelines to meet established budget
Hire and train Food and Beverage staff and cross-train as necessary
Create schedules for Food and Beverage venues according to staffing guidelines and business demands
Maintain inventory levels and conduct full weekly inventory
Respond personally to guest questions and complaints
Responsibilities:
Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, and other appropriate areas.
Ensure all food products are fresh
Store food and supplies in the proper storage areas.
Follow recipes properly to ensure accurate cooking.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
Grill, cook, and fry foods
Complete orders from steam tables and place the food on plates.
Perform food preparation tasks, such as making sandwiches, carving meats, making soups or salads, and any other meal prep.
Stock pantry, walk-in, refrigerator/freezer with food items when orders are delivered.
Perform other related and unrelated tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Reliable and self-motivated
2 years of experience in full and or fast pace limited-service restaurant & bar/lounge.
Knowledge & Experience in POS, Labor & Food Cost Controls, Bartending, Profit & Loss Reporting, Scheduling Knowledge, Food & Service Management Training
Outgoing personality and excellent communications skills are a MUST
Willing to be team-focused with creative participation in vents and 100% Focus on Guest Service & Experience.
Physical Requirement:
Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, or crouching. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
