SUMMARY OF THE JOB
Serve all customers and employees of Farmers Bank in a helpful and friendly manner while exhibiting professionalism and competence. Responsible for processing account transactions; assisting customers in their selection of various account and financial services; cross selling the Bank's products and services; opening, closing and maintaining all types of accounts; and promoting business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations with new and existing customers. Supervise the activities of the retail branch employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Serve customers of Farmers Bank with all customer service transactions and requests;
Cross-train all branch job duties in order to assist the overall operation as needed;
Assist with the supervision of the work of the branch employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures;
Ensure excellent customer service including the resolution of customer and employee complaints;
Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to attain branch goals; and
Assist with compliance with employment laws, safety, and security.

Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage risk by identifying threats associated with business tasks and potential violations of policies and regulations.
Comfortable with technology and skills to effectively operate automated systems, software and equipment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent; and
Proven experience with front line banking;
Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and procedures.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is performed largely in an office environment. Prolonged standing, sitting and intermittent mental and visual concentration for computer usage is required. This position requires talking, listening, reaching, lifting and handling with repetitive eye and hand movement. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate. Hours worked are generally during normal business hours and average 40 hours per week with some expectation for community involvement.
