About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional brass and piano teacher who is well-versed in foundational teaching for all brass instruments, and also someone who can translate that to marching and concert band. Preference will be given to candidates who are also comfortable teaching trumpet, french horn, and trombone. This is a part-time position with our Atlanta, GA Music School, North Fulton School of Music.

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. This position is unique as the instructor will need a reliable mode of transportation as they will be instructing in family residences, in person.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is $30-$32 per hour.

This posting is for the North Fulton School of Music. We offer piano, guitar, voice, drums, and other instrument lessons to children ages six and up and cater to all levels including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. North Fulton School of Music® welcomes adults as well.
