    Position Overview:

    Our client is a well established indoor and outdoor landscape company providing beautiful landscape solutions for Class A properties to include Corporate Offices and Luxury Hotels.  They are known for Live Wall installation and maintenance, Container Gardens and landscape solutions that fit a high end, urban, city environment.  The company is PE backed and will be growing organically and via acquisitions.  With over 50% of their revenue coming from the Seattle market, they have created this new Vice President position to oversee the success and growth of the Seattle market.

    The Vice President is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales growth, managing profit and loss (P&L), and developing strategies to achieve the company's financial and sales objectives within Seattle, WA.

    This role involves leading the sales team, overseeing sales operations, directly managing the top 10 - 15 accounts and overseeing the General Manager who own account management and operations in a market to ensure the company's profitability and market expansion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Leadership:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development.
    • Establish sales goals, monitor progress, and take corrective actions as needed.

    • Own development of new customers and new customer growth in region, particularly with property managers, facilities managers, and architecture & design firms P&L Management:
    • Own the P&L for branches reporting up through this position, ensuring profitability and financial health.
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Work closely with finance team.
    • Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to improve revenue and reduce costs.

    Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the company's overall business strategy.
    • Identify market opportunities and trends to drive business growth.
    • Develop and implement sales policies, procedures, and best practices.

    Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty.

    Market Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify new business development opportunities and competitive landscape.
    • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform decision-making and strategy development.
    • Stay informed about industry developments and adjust strategies accordingly. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and finance, to align sales strategies with business objectives.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
    • Ensure effective communication and coordination across teams.

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role with P&L responsibility.
    • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Experience managing Commercial Landscape or Interior Plant Services Sales.

    Reporting:
    The Vice President of Sales with P&L Responsibility will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer, (COO) and work closely with other members of the executive leadership team.
