Project Manager
BraveView has partnered with a family-owned, mid-sized Commercial and Residential General Contractor working in the General Tampa, FL region. In addition to its commercial and residential construction services, the company specializes in access construction, disaster restoration, pre-engineered metal building, and historical preservation projects serving the Tampa, Florida region. The family-owned company also offers expansion, relocation, and handicap modifications to commercial and residential facilities. We are seeking experienced Project Managers to join the team in the Tampa Office. Candidates should be energetic, highly self-motivated individuals who enjoy the challenges of interesting projects while being able to maintain project schedules and profitability with the ability to work with little to no supervision.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager for commercial and residential construction projects between $200k and $3 Million in value
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both internal individuals and external Clients, Subcontractors, and Suppliers
- Experience using web-based Project Management Solutions; Procore experience preferred
- Experience using Project Scheduling Software
- Experience in Estimating Projects
- Must be able to multi-task on multiple projects in various phases of the construction process
Duties:
- Ability to Estimate during the Preconstruction phase and meet with the client for all coordination
- Read and Interpret Construction Plans and Specifications
- Complete Subcontractor and Vendor procurement by completing buyout, the scope of work review, contract writing, insurance, and bonding reviews, etc.
- Research and recommend resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, and errors
- Manage the processes for all Submittals, RFI’s, Change Order Proposals, Owner Billings, Time Sheet Management, Subcontractor/Vendor Billings, Monthly Reports, etc.
- Produce accurate monthly cost projections which forecast total estimated costs at completion
- Create and monitor Project Schedules and produce progress updates
- Participate in weekly Subcontractor meetings
- Act as Superintendent for the oversight of QA/QC Standards and Safety Requirements by actively engaging in the Job site progression
- Oversee the creation and completion of Punch Lists and Close Out Documents
- Proactive marketing the company brand in order to promote new sales
