    We are currently seeking an Engineer/Scientist to join Precise Systems. Candidate served as or in the capacity of Director of Development involving hardware / software development, modeling and simulation, and system test and evaluation. Extensive background with waveform development and employment via multiple tactical radios. Extensive background designing system protocols to include Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID), WiFi, routing of traffic and message translation, hosting database and other software enabling end user devices, gateway process development, dual-domain sub system and cross-domain solution and data-at-rest encryption.

    Functional Description: Performs tasks with little or no guidance. Has demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise. Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems. OR; Leads the execution of complex tasks. Applies and integrates engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems.

    Duties: Support the Digital Interoperability (DI) Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Agile Network Gateway Link (MANGL) family of systems to include systems engineering, hardware and software design and support, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) engineering and compliance, internet protocol (IP) networking, data links, and tactical radio networks, waveform development and integration, and commercial solutions for classified (CSfC). Additional roles include architecture development, requirements management, RF systems, hardware design and support, software and firmware development and software support, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and specialized mission systems. Provide analytical support and continuity for the management of the United States Marine Corps Digital Interoperability team. Develop, present and lead technical discussions pertaining to digital interoperability in support of MANGL stakeholders, cross-service and joint partners.

    Education Required: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering discipline. Allowable substitution: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering discipline and an additional four (4) years of experience can be substituted for a Master's degree.

    Experience Required: At least ten (10) years of experience in an engineering position is required.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
