Breakfast Ambassador - Bistro Food Associate
Breakfast Ambassadors are reliable team members, eager to learn and serve guests with a smile while upholding Marriott standards. This role involves independent management of a small kitchen, including preparation, service, and cleaning duties. Shifts start at 5:30 am on weekdays and 6:30 am on weekends, ending at 12:00 pm. Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) is a must! We are also looking for friendly and dependable individuals to join us as Bistro Food Service Associates. Responsibilities include customer service, food prep, cleaning, and occasional barista/bartending tasks and event setup. Key qualities we seek are a positive attitude, teamwork skills, and excellent customer service. Previous food service experience is not necessary - a willingness to learn is essential! We offer morning and evening shifts. Evening shifts require associates to be at least 21 years old, while there are no age restrictions for Breakfast Ambassadors. Responsibilities: • Performs outlet opening or closing duties • Ensures adherence to corporate and local guidelines, policies, and procedures • Conducts Bistro/Breakfast activities to ensure quality production/delivery of product/service • Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of the dining experience • Supervises completion of required set up/preparation, at the beginning of shift and clean up restocking at the end of shift • Inspects all equipment prior to, during, and at the end of shift, and addresses any needed repairs • Inventories supplies at the beginning of the shift, and obtains supplies necessary to support the forecasted level of business • Other duties as assigned including needs of function room and events. This does not apply to Breakfast Ambassadors Qualifications: • Experience in food preparation is not required, but an open and learning attitude is required • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to take direction from supervisor • Ability to work either morning (5:30a-11:00a) or evening shifts (4:30-11:00p), flexibility is a big plus • 21 years old for the Bistro position, no age restriction for Breakfast Ambassador Compensation: $14 hourly
