Breakfast Attendant / Bistro Food Associate
Breakfast attendant hours are 5:30 am to 11:30 am M-F. and some weekends, 6:30 am to 12 noon. Duties include preparing and displaying food, keeping the food areas clean and neat, and being friendly to our guests. Duties are conducted independently and require a cheerful, dependable disposition. Bistro Attendant responsibilities include customer service, food prep, cleaning, and occasional barista/bartending tasks and event setup. The Bistro position has both morning and evening opportunities. Key qualities we seek are a positive attitude, teamwork skills, and excellent customer service. Although food service experience is not mandatory, a willingness to learn is essential! Marriott room rate discounts are available to part-time employees. We are looking for associates who can work 2-4 evening shifts a week, especially on weekends. Shifts are from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Responsibilities: • Performs outlet opening and closing duties • Ensures adherence to corporate and local guidelines, policies, and procedures • Conducts Bistro activities to ensure quality production/delivery of product/service • Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of the dining experience • Supervises completion of required set up/preparation at the beginning of shift and clean up restocking at the end of shift • Inspects all equipment prior to, during, and at the end of shift, and addresses any needed repairs • Inventories supplies at the beginning of the shift and obtains supplies necessary to support the forecasted level of business • Other duties as assigned, including needs of function room and events. Qualifications: • Experience in food preparation is not required, but an open and learning attitude is required • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to take direction from supervisor • 21 years old for the Bistro position Compensation: $14 hourly
