As a Breakfast Attendant at Hampton Inn & Suites - Atlanta Northlake, you will play a key role in creating a positive and enjoyable start to our guests' day. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining the breakfast area, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and providing excellent customer service to all guests. We are looking for a friendly, proactive individual who is passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering a high-quality breakfast experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Breakfast Setup and Maintenance:
Set up the breakfast area each morning, including preparing and arranging food items, beverages, and utensils in an attractive and organized manner.
Monitor and replenish food and beverage items throughout the breakfast service to ensure a continuous supply.
Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the breakfast area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning spills, and disposing of waste.
Guest Service:
Greet guests warmly and assist them with any questions or requests related to the breakfast offerings.
Ensure that guests have a pleasant dining experience by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and courteously.
Food Safety and Hygiene:
Follow all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage, and preparation of food items.
Ensure that all breakfast items are fresh, properly labeled, and stored at the correct temperatures.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies; report any shortages or issues to the supervisor.
Assist with ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
Cleanup and Closing Duties:
Perform end-of-service cleanup tasks, including breaking down the breakfast setup, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing the area.
Ensure that all breakfast items are stored properly and that the area is ready for the next day’s service.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other hotel staff and departments to ensure a smooth operation and exceptional guest experience.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
ServeSafe certification preferred.
Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is an advantage but not required.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
