    Bridgeport ProtoTrak Machinist Our core values foster a workplace environment where employees feel a sense of purpose and belonging. The Bridgeport ProtoTrak Machinist at Test Products will be responsible for setting up and operating manual Bridgeport machines to manufacture parts. Studies part drawings to determine tooling needs and machining sequence. Verifies and documents product conformance to specification per process. Bridgeport ProtoTrak Machinist maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment. Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work This is a full-time position. Standard days and flex hours are Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. However, the Bridgeport Prototrak Machinist is expected to dedicate the time required to meet the company’s strategic plan. Benefits Offered • 401k Match • Health Insurance (Medical, Dental & Vision) • Life Insurance • Paid Time off • Company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance • Employee Recognition • Company events Responsibilities: • Set up and operate manual Bridgeport machines to manufacture parts • Study part drawings to determine tooling needs and machining sequence • Verify and document product conformance to specification per process • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment • Perform all assigned machine shop operations • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures • Regularly perform milling, turning, drilling, and tapping tasks • Inspect machined products and document results • Complete and maintain paperwork for parts • Other duties may be assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential for this position • Must be able to read blueprints • Communication proficiency • Mathematical skills • Mechanical capacity • Technical capacity • Time management • Physical stamina and strength Required Education And Experience • A high school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school preferred • Proven experience as a Bridgeport/Machinist ( 2+ Years ) • Must have Bridgeport experience • Prototrak experience is a plus • Understanding of production procedures Compensation: $22 hourly DOE
