POSITION SUMMARY ** (Hiring is closed for the 2023 Season. Please understand you will likely not get a response until our hiring season for 2024 beings in the Fall months of 2023)**
Air Attack Captain - Pilot-in-Command on various aircraft (K100, PC-12, AC90) operating under Visual and Instrument Flight Rules. You will be assigned to fly one or two of these aircraft. You will be required to fly specific assigned flight altitudes within the fire environment to assist your government officer with providing aircraft separation over the incident. This role requires you to be away from home on a 12 on, 12 off schedule. This role reports directly to the Air Attack Chief Pilot. The candidate responds well when faced with a quickly changing environment and relies on their excellent judgement to complete the mission safely while following all guidelines.
Hiring is typically done in the fall. You may not get a response until after September
Salary: Starting wage from $65,000 with annual pay increases
