JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee will be responsible for setting up and repairing machines, attachments, and tools or building units based on the production schedule and complete tests and records results.
Operate machines and monitor feedstock as well as inspects work, change and sharpen tools, lubricate machines, remove work and chips, add cutting oil, etc.
As well as helping in assisting in maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment and machines as well as the maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment and machines.
Assist department personnel in problem-resolution as required and diagnose and resolve tooling problems and machine malfunction and adjust and operate a variety of machine tools and/or production equipment.
JOB SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to pass Mechanical Aptitude Assessment
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge in the use of hand tools, etc.
Understanding of LEAN principles to perform job duties for ongoing improvement
Fluent in English and primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Moderate physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25 to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs), and occasionally lifting heavy weight materials (up to 70 lbs)
