ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Broadcast Worship Leader will be responsible for leading worship while building, encouraging, equipping, and empowering the worship team members at the broadcast campus. The Broadcast Worship Leader will work alongside the Lead Worship Pastor to execute, plan, and maintain a level of excellence at the Englewood Broadcast Campus for worship services and live stream events. The Broadcast Worship Leader will steward worship teams, rehearsals, scheduling and planning of services.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- 2+ years’ experience in leading worship in a large church setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED completion required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Worship team support for weekend services and Night of Prayer and Worship.
- Scheduling of worship team through planning center for services and Night of Prayer and other live events.
- Oversee worship team practice.
- Schedule team members for any worship involved events.
- Build and develop the worship team at the campus.
- Lead worship for weekend services and for special events.
- Manage the scheduling of all vocalists for weekends and special events.
- Assist in overseeing the personal, spiritual and skills development of vocalists.
- Meet with key leaders regularly to ensure team development.
- Provide consistent communication with team.
- Prepare set lists for all weekend services & special events.
- Edit setlist to work at each campus.
- Communicate with the team about service flow.
- Oversee all Planning Center lists, such as: adult worship service plans, adding additional plans, rehearsal / service times, message series titles, Communions, etc.
