Crew Leader Position Summary: Bruster's Crew Leaders are responsible for enthusiastically leading and motivating the restaurant team to achieve the highest levels of customer service and guest satisfaction. Crew Leaders ensure that each guest visit results in a friendly and personalized Bruster's Ice Cream experience. Crew Leader Responsibilities: Accurately maintain cash drawer and ring up customer orders. Prepare and complete customer orders in a timely manner. Ensures orders are taken in a prompt, accurate and courteous manner. Follow all health and safety guidelines and work with team members to ensure work area is clean and sanitary throughout. Perform cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, cleaning of food prep areas, trash removal, restroom cleaning. Prudent in adhering to work schedule; job responsibilities require long periods of standing. Work as part of the team while maintaining a positive work environment. Must be flexible to change that comes with working in a restaurant environment. Assists in resolving customer complaints. Crew Leader Requirements: Previous restaurant experience (optional). Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job. Must be able to work various shifts per week including weekends and nights. Absolute desire to provide excellent customer service in a friendly manner. Ability to speak clearly and pleasantly to customers. Must practice proper personal hygiene at all times. Ability to oversee and motivate team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; organization and time-management skills. Good written, verbal and math and interpersonal skills.
