WE ARE LOCATED IN WALNUT CREEK, CA

We are in search of Tax Staff to join our practice. These are full-time positions.

Buckley Patchen is a well-established and respected leader among public accounting firms in Walnut Creek. We are searching for a long-term motivated professional who is a CPA or CPA candidate to join our team. We offer remote/flex work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

TAX STAFF

• Prepare and review tax returns.
• Prepare and review business (1065, 1120, 11120S) tax returns.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Communicate effectively to the partners/managers on any unresolved issues.
• Experience Prosystem Fx Tax a plus!

BIG PLUS IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN BOTH AUDIT AND TAX! Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required and must be eligible to sit for the CPA exams.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax principles.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Office Suite.
• Experience with ProSystem Engagement, preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
