This entry-level accounting position earns a COMPETITIVE WAGE of $18 - $20/HOUR. TEMP – TO – PERMANENT This position will support our Accounting team during the transition to an SAP system, with the potential to transition to a permanent SAP Accounting position after.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
In this accounting role, you will be responsible for outgoing accounting transaction. This will include processing and filing vendor invoices, and accurately tracking them in our ERP system. You will regularly verify and issue check and wire transfer payments. You will also manage the processing and payment of employee expense reimbursements. We train you in our system operations to ensure your success in this role.
You will also spend time maintaining customer sales tax status and researching mismatched invoices, receivers, and purchase orders. Opportunities for additional tasks and projects may become available based on aptitude and experience to further develop your skills and exposure for career development.

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, averaging 20 hours per week with the opportunity for full-time. To balance a flexible schedule with departmental needs, we will require a defined weekly schedule mandatory Thursdays and/or Fridays.
