Candidates will work in dynamic project environments, installing, commissioning, and servicing building management and automation systems. A clean AZ driver’s license and a commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace are required.
Lead Controls Technician
Role: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of building management systems on construction projects.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise on-site teams and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
* Develop detailed commissioning plans including functional testing, sequence verification, and system calibration.
* Interpret technical drawings and provide clear guidance to team members.
* Collaborate with project stakeholders to address technical concerns and ensure seamless system integration (e.g., HVAC, lighting, security).
Experienced Controls Service Technician
Role: Provide ongoing service, troubleshooting, and maintenance for installed building automation systems and integrated equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive system tests, startup procedures, and routine service checks on process equipment.
* Install and modify low voltage communication wiring and related hardware as needed.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site to maintain system performance.
* Perform quality assurance measures and document all maintenance activities accurately.
Experienced Controls Installation Technician
Role: Execute installation projects in manufacturing or commercial settings with an emphasis on HVAC and building automation controls.
Responsibilities:
* Lead on-site installation tasks including wiring, terminations, and the setup of electrical raceways in compliance with electrical codes.
* Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on control systems during and after installation.
* Coordinate with installation teams and ensure all systems are thoroughly tested and commissioned prior to handover.
* Interpret blueprints and technical documents to guide installation work.
* Proven expertise in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of building automation systems.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturer’s literature.
* Familiarity with both digital (DDC) and pneumatic control systems.
* Strong communication and leadership abilities to guide on-site teams and liaise with project stakeholders.
* Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to work overtime and adapt to project demands.
* Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
* Must maintain a drug-free status as part of workplace safety protocols.
Salary info:
