TEACHERS NEEDED FOR BRAND NEW DAYCARE GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN Employment type: full-time (40 hrs) This position is for immediate hire, must be available to work throughout the entire school year Sept-June We are a BRAND NEW DAYCARE in the heart of GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN. Looking for lead/assistant teachers with prior experience in a daycare/school setting with children ages 2-5 years old. We are in need of someone who enjoys working with small children, is patient, caring, and can effectively communicate with parents. Responsibilities include: lesson planning, collaboration with lead/assistant teacher, preparing materials and executing daily activities, following curriculum theme, disciplining, and watching children. This position involves feeding and diaper changing along with light cleaning tasks. Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma( assistant teacher) and at least 90+ college credits- currently working towards your degree (applies to lead teacher)
• Bachelors/Masters in Education or related field is preferable
• Be nice, creative, energetic, nurturing, and caring
• Experience working with children 2-5 years old in a daycare/school setting IS A MUST!
• Schedule availability for 5 days a week FULL TIME( Must be available all 5 days)
• Must have DOI fingerprints or be willing to get them upon hiring at own expense. Must be willing to go through clearing procedures and full background check upon hire. Looking to hire ASAP. Serious inquiries only. We will contact you if interested.
