About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Building Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance, operation, and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience, and a proactive approach to maintaining facility efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, plumbing, and electrical issues.

Maintain and repair general building components, including doors, windows, and fixtures.

Monitor and adjust building automation systems (BAS) for optimal energy efficiency.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and scheduled maintenance.

Work closely with property management and vendors to coordinate repairs and improvements.

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance, engineering, or a related field. ✅ HVAC experience is required (certifications a plus). ✅ Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems. ✅ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. ✅ Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals. ✅ Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations. ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills. ✅ Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

EPA HVAC certification.

Experience with building automation systems.

Previous experience in commercial or residential property maintenance.
