Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads • Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction • Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures • Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks • Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures Qualifications: • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED • Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed • Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred Compensation: $18 - $19 hourly
