We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. Responsibilities: • Assist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner • Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment • Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations • Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction • Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures Qualifications: • Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required • Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED • HVAC 2nd Class or Boilers 2nd Class is required and applicants without licenses will not be considered at this time Compensation: $19 hourly
