Escuela Avancemos is seeking a Substitute Teacher for the 2024-2025 School Year.

Escuela Avancemos! is a K-8 Academy located in the heart of Southwest Detroit. We are looking for:

Our teachers are responsible for providing students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in core academic subject areas designed to fulfill their maximum potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.

Teachers in this role are expected to facilitate instructional practices that enable students to develop competencies and skills that will prepare them for success in higher education and society.

Additionally, our teachers are expected to cultivate a positive school culture of scholarship, character, and leadership traits.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
