    Job Description

     To provide the best possible service to our customers on the selling floor resulting in repeat customers and increased sales. To achieve this goal, teamwork will be required among all employees. Certain non-selling tasks must also be completed in order to maintain exceptional customer service. Special attention must be paid to maintaining a neat, clean, attractive and safe environment both inside and outside the store. All tasks are to be performed according to the standards of performance set by the Company. Comply with any directive or request given by the Outlet Store Manager or other authorized manager or supervisor.

    INTERACTION 1. Reports directly to the Outlet Store Manager. In his or her absence, the Sales Associate will report to the Assistant Manager or Supervisor. 2. Extensive interaction with customers and store teams 3. Interaction with District/Group Manager and Regional Directors

    SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Strategic Business Planning/Operations a. Meet or exceed credit and email goals. b. Perform all requirements and functions of the POS terminal systems in an efficient and timely manner. c. Supports and implements changes needed to improve the company’s efficiency. d. Upholds the values and integrity of the company. e. Perform receiving duties and merchandising duties. f. Clean restroom, restock paper products and pick up trash throughout and around store. Routinely clean sales floor, stockroom and breakroom. g. Performs housekeeping duties including vacuuming, cleaning, dusting and polishing (mirrors, fixtures, cash wraps, displays, carpeting, or other surfaces). h. Assist Management to ensure the ongoing protection of Company assets and funds from theft and errors throughout the entire store. i. Correctly apply and follow all Company policies and procedures. j. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. k. Communicates effectively by being clear and concise in both oral and written communication in order to ensure effective operations. 2. Merchandise Presentation a. Use product knowledge about vendors, styles, prices, and merchandise, to assist customers with purchase decisions. b. Treats our product with care and respect by maintaining a clean, neat and organized store. c. Use Company method of merchandising for all departments and divisions. d. Ensures the proper handling of merchandise functions within the store including markdowns, processing, sizing and recovery. 3. Customer Focus a. Upholds a culture that builds exceptional internal and external customer experiences. b. Maintains high customer readiness standards and delivers a neat, clean and easy to shop store environment. c. Creates a positive fitting room environment through customer interaction and recovery. d. Works well with others to accomplish tasks, solve problems and achieve goals. e. Builds customer loyalty through our One Card loyalty program and One Card credit card program.
