Certified Personal Trainer for Strength and Conditioning Boot Camps
As a Burn Boot Camp Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic, challenging workouts to members of all fitness levels. This position requires a strong ability to be a great personal trainer -- providing hands-on form correction, modifications and encouragement -- in a group setting, motivating multiple clients at once.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver 45-minute pre-designed workouts to boot camps where you may have 2, 15, 40 or more clients at once
Arrive to the gym a minimum of 15 minutes before your scheduled camps and remain in the gym through the end of your scheduled camps. Trainers are scheduled for 2-4 at a time per shift and should expect to be in the gym a minimum of 15 mins after their last camp to help clean and prepare the floor for the next camp.
Lead and motivate clients through intense training sessions using your trainer knowledge and skills to be a stickler for good form, make sure members are using appropriately challenging weights and mods and educating them along the way
Practice what you preach. Live a lifestyle similar to the way you want clients to live theirs. All trainers receive a free or discounted membership to Burn Boot Camps and are expected to take a minimum of 1 camp per month and offer feedback to the trainer leading that camp after.
Hold 1:1 focus meetings with members to discuss their goals and keep them accountable. Focus meetings could be about nutrition, measurements, mobility, or anything else the member needs your support for.
Use Social Media and participate in the private members' Facebook group.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Experienced Certified Personal Trainer. MUST hold current CPT from an NCCA accredited institution such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, NCSA or NFPT.
Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
Ability to multi-task and stay organized with a strong desire to offer members a premium "Blue Carpet" experience from the minute they walk in the door to the moment they leave
Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels including awkward newbies, beastmode athletes and even pregnant women
CPR/AED certification
PASSION for our members and the Burn experience -- we are a strong, supportive community and all of our team members genuinely love our gym and our members.
Job Type: Flexible as Part or Full Time -- this could be 3-6 shifts per week up to a total of 9-20 camps.
Our Camp Schedule:
Monday through Friday: 5am, 6am, 8:30am, 9:30am, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm (no 6:30pm on Friday)
Saturday: 8am & 9am
Pay: Based on Experience
Training and On-Boarding: Employee will go through a training period as they learn the Burn Boot Camp protocol and processes. During this time, you should expect to take camps, co-train off the mic, demo on the mic, learn the details of our membership agreements. New team members will be asked to spend one shift at their availability at our Bear, Delaware location for initial on-boarding.
