General Summary:
Communicate with and assist food servers in maintaining service efficiency and ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and restock the front-of-the-house area. Serve water and provide refills as needed. Remove dirty dishes and utensils for the next course and clean and reset vacated tables. Return dirty dishes, silverware, glassware, and utensils to the dishwashing area. May assist wait staff in serving tables with hot beverages such as coffee or tea.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-the-house including all tables, chairs, floors, windows and restrooms
Restock dining room with silverware, glassware, utensils, condiments, and linen and maintain adequate supplies in the workstations. Prepare beverages required for service, including coffee, iced tea, and hot water
Clean/set tables after guest leave
Assist food servers with drinks and refills
Pre-bus tables
Stock: napkins, and silverware
Meet and greet guests (internal and external) with a smile. Greet guests with “Welcome to…” and thank them for coming when they leave
Greet guests as appropriate after they are seated in assigned area
Communicates with host/hostess and wait staff to maintain service efficiency and guest satisfaction
May assist wait staff in serving tables during rush periods
Take out dining room trash
Sweep Floor
Customer service
Check restrooms on an hourly basis
Assist host person with seating of guests
Assist guest with any needs
Fill ice bins
Complete assigned side work
Maintain a sanitary workstation
Follow all company policies and procedures
Work as a team with co-workers
Other duties as assigned
When Food Runner assist the expo in getting correct food to the correct table in a timely manor
When Food Runner assist the server by ensuring the guest got everything they ordered
