Role: Discovery Analyst
Location: Austin, TX (Day-1 Onsite)
Job Description: Looking to hire a Discovery Analyst with minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in similar functional roles. Analysts will be working in a fast-paced integrated eligibility project capturing user stories during the discovery phase.
An eligible candidate must have the following skill sets:
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience working as a business analyst eliciting requirements from various business stakeholders
Collaborate with product owners, business users and technical teams as part of creating the user stories
Ability to facilitate and drive meetings with various stakeholders, define agendas, capture minutes and track action items for completion
Skilled at analyzing existing system documentation and capture as-is and to-be functionality of the new enhancements.
Communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical and non-technical teams.
Excellent documentation skills in developing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
Ability to create wireframe mockups
Ability to create flow chart diagrams
Experience with using application lifecycle management tools such as JIRA, JAMA, etc.
Understanding of data bases and able to write basic SQL queries for data analysis
Prior Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) or any other Case Management System experience is a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or with others in a team environment.
