    Position Summary:
    We are Seeking a dedicated Business Analyst II who will play a critical role in evaluating business systems and user needs, aligning technical solutions with overall business strategies. This position focuses on data governance, specifically implementing a metadata library project by collaborating with IT and program teams to standardize business and technical metadata across the agency. Responsibilities include business process reengineering, stakeholder communication, change management, and preparing risk assessments and financial analyses. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to engage with cross-functional teams to drive project success. Experience with metadata documentation, Informatica tools, and public health data is preferred.

    **PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May perform any or all of the following):

    (Minimum 4 Years of experience is required)**

    • Experience in data governance or data management or in a related area as a business analyst
    • Experience working directly with program/business staff to implement a technical solution
    • Experience engaging with and preparing verbal and written communications and presentations for non-technical staff
    • Experience guiding stakeholders in managing change related to technology and business processes
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams
    • Experience documenting business and technical metadata
    • Experience with Informatica data governance tool (Axon, Enterprise Data Catalog, and/or Informatica Data Quality)
    • Experience working with public health program areas or data assets
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in business process reengineering, data governance, and metadata documentation.
    • Excellent stakeholder communication and change management abilities, including engaging with cross-functional teams, preparing presentations, and guiding non-technical staff through technology adoption.
