Position Title: Business Architect
Department: Strategy & Operations
Reports To: Chief Strategy Officer (CSO)

Position Summary:
The Business Architect will play a critical role in ensuring the alignment of strategic business objectives with tactical demands, bridging the gap between business strategy and technology implementation. This individual will work to design and optimize business processes, ensuring they support the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business strategies and models.
- Business Analysis: Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and design optimized solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into architectural requirements.
- Solution Design: Develop business architecture models to support the company’s strategic objectives.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of business architecture, including business capability models, value streams, and process maps.
- Alignment: Ensure business strategy and IT initiatives are aligned.
- Change Management: Assess the impact of changes on business processes and systems, supporting change management efforts.
- Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation and drive continuous improvement within the organization.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with business architecture.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 9-15 years of experience in business architecture, business analysis, or related roles.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in business process modeling and analysis tools.
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
Familiarity with Agile and other project management methodologies.
Strong understanding of information systems and their role in business processes.
