    Job Summary

    We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our septic company. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service through phone, email, and in-person interactions. Your responsibilities will include scheduling appointments, addressing customer inquiries, and assisting with billing and service-related questions.

    Responsibilities

    *Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. *Schedule and coordinate septic system inspections, maintenance, and service appointments. *Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and timelines. *Handle customer concerns, resolve issues when possible, and escalate complex complaints to management if needed. *Maintain and update customer records, service histories, and billing information. *Process payments, invoices, and assist with basic bookkeeping tasks. *Communicate effectively with field technicians to ensure accurate scheduling and service delivery. *Follow up with customers to confirm appointments and ensure satisfaction after service. *Assist in preparing and sending customer reminders, quotes, and follow-up communications. *Stay informed about company services, policies, and industry regulations.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED

    Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred

    Comfortable using computers

    Excellent phone and verbal communication skills

    Understanding of active listening techniques and multi-tasking skills

    Ability to work well under pressure

    Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively
