Position Overview:
We are hiring an Associate to identify, source, and develop private equity transactions. These individuals will be core members of our deal team, who build relationships with founders, CEOs, board directors, and investment bankers and advise our clients on deal strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development - Source investment opportunities for our clients through targeted outreach.
- Relationship Building - Build and nurture long-term relationships with founders, CEOs, board directors, investment bankers to unlock and secure new investment opportunities.
- Driving Deals – Work alongside senior dealmakers to gain hands-on experience in the deal process, from initial discussions to finalizing transactions.
- Financial Analysis - Develop and leverage a thorough understanding of financial statements, terminology, and analyses (with minimal to no financial modeling).
- Collaboration - Work closely with the greater team to determine relevant deals across the client-base.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within business development, private equity, corporate development, or investment banking.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Proven experience managing and producing high-volume output efficiently and accurately.
- Genuine interest in finance and investment strategies, along with a basic understanding of financial concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Results-oriented in maintaining a clear focus on achieving set goals through strategic action.
- Tenacious in following through on tasks and initiatives until they are successfully completed.
- Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Proactive problem solver, self-motivated, and a strong work ethic.
- Adaptable to changing priorities, thriving in fast-paced environments.
- Eager to pitch in wherever necessary to support deal origination and drive results.
