    What is 1-Tom-Plumber?

    1-Tom-Plumber is a professional, service-focused, emergency drain clearing, water damage mitigation, and plumbing maintenance company providing services to both commercial and residential properties in the city of Columbus, OH, and surrounding communities.

    Position Purpose

    The primary function of the sales representative job is to develop key relations with local businesses and residential customers that result in generating jobs that require our plumbing services.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Generate B2B in-person site visits totaling 50 per week/200 per month.

    Generate B2B new business accounts totaling a minimum of 3-5 per week/12-25 per month.

    Generate B2B total sales revenue of $20,000 per month or higher.

    Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information obtained from local B2B visits, social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), and other sources (local events, chamber of commerce networking, BNI groups, and more).

    Travels throughout assigned territory to call on prospects and regular customers to advance the brand and create new business opportunities.

    Extensive cold calling is required with weekly and monthly target goals.

    Develop an elevator pitch to convey the benefits and value of working with 1-Tom-Plumber to potential customers.

    Generate key relationships with local businesses that turn into recurring business job opportunities and long-term customer support relating to plumbing services.

    Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss and track new commercial accounts, customer information, and other sales data to maintain sales reporting in CRM software and weekly sales trackers.

    Qualifications

    Minimum of 2 years of experience in b2b sales. Sales management is a plus.

    Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and active listening skills to ensure the correct plumbing service is provided to the customer.

    Strong negotiating skills with a detail-oriented approach to all activities associated with 1-Tom-Plumber.

    Ability to build rapport with all types of potential customers (both commercial and residential). Must also be familiar with CRM platforms.
