    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development leader to join our team. This is not a training position—you must hit the ground running. The ideal candidate has strong industry contacts, a deep understanding of low voltage systems, and a relentless drive to close deals. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and can deliver results, we want to hear from you.

    Responsibilities

    • Research Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue leads through online databases, permit offices, and networking.
    • Client Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with electricians, general contractors, architects, and building owners.
    • Prepare Bids: Develop and present detailed bids and proposals tailored to client needs.
    • Present Sales Pitches: Deliver compelling presentations that highlight the value of our services and solutions.
    • Follow Up Relentlessly: Ensure consistent communication with prospects and clients to close deals.
    • Understand the Product: Demonstrate expertise in the systems we provide, including their installation and functionality.

    Qualifications

    • Proven track record in sales of low voltage systems or related fields.
    • Industry contacts are a must. (Book of business would be great)
    • Ability to independently research leads, prepare bids, and close sales without training.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Legal employability in the United States.
    • Education not required—we value experience and results over degrees.
    • Valid Drivers license with reliable transportation

    Compensation & Benefits – Based on experience

    • Base Salary: $50,000+
    • Commission: Competitive, with unlimited earning potential.
    • Benefits: 401(k) and medical insurance options after 90 days
    • Auto: mileage reimbursement

    Work Environment

    • This position covers projects in the Southeast.
    • You’ll need to be self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
