    1-Tom-Plumber is a fast-growing emergency plumbing company that provides services to both commercial and residential properties. We are looking for a motivated individual to help us aggressively expand into the Tulsa market.

    The Business Development Manager is responsible for the growth, profitability and leadership of the territory.

    What is 1-Tom-Plumber? 1-Tom Plumber is a professional, service-focused, emergency drain clearing, water damage mitigation, and plumbing maintenance company providing services to both commercial and residential properties. We are new to town and this is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned sales person to help build something from the ground up!

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from LinkedIn, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, newspapers and other sources.

    Travels throughout assigned territory to call on prospects and regular customers to solicit orders or talks with prospects and customers by phone. Extensive cold calling required.

    Discusses the benefits of working with 1-Tom-Plumber.

    Quotes prices and credit terms and signs commercial account agreements as needed.

    Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.

    Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM software.

    Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.

    Attends trade shows and other community events to develop leads.

    Qualifications

    2 years of experience in business-to-business sales. Sales management a plus.

    Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

    Strong negotiating skills.

    Deadline and detail-oriented.

    Ability to build rapport with clients.

    Familiar with CRM platforms.

    Ability to lead and inspire others.

    Self-starter.

    Excellent organization skills.

    Excellent time management skills.
